Cows About Cambridge
Herd of Cows About Cambridge 2020?
What is Cows About Cambridge 2020? – you may ask.
This is a public art event where a smattering of over 50 cow sculptures are to be dispersed across Cambridge in spring, 2020. Cows About Cambridge is to be delivered by Wild in Art who are creative producers that work to leave a lasting legacy through bold creativity. Wild in Art will be working alongside Break, a young children’s charity and supported by Cambridge Business Improvement District (BID), to bring about many positive changes, economically, socially and culturally.
The idea is that these blank canvas cows will be painted by artists and sponsored by local businesses for the community to enjoy and follow throughout the city. Whilst these artistic cows are there to entertain the city and bring awareness to local business awareness as a byproduct, these beautiful sculptures will be auctioned off to raise funds for a children’s charity called Break.
